Dirty Martini - Bartending Spy Game

Dirty Martini is a bartending simulation game built in Unity where the player assumes the role of a spy within a fictional Cold War period, trying to get information from high-level targets coming to the bar, under the disguise of a bartender.

This was a team project of 7 people total, where I contributed as Technical Designer. I was responsible for designing some game systems, and the core gameplay loop, as well as assisting programmers on the team with tools development.

My Contribution

Game Design

  • Broadly designed the core gameplay loop, determining how game systems interact with each other, while considering the technical aspect of the project.
  • Designed the drink mixing system in its entirety.

Tools Development

  • Closely assisted programmers on the team with developing editor tools in order to facilitate the development workflow of both programmers and designers moving forward in the project.

Production and Research

  • Conducted market research, and developed a publisher pitch deck to help with funding the project.
